Now that Nintendo have released the Switch 2 I figured it was finally time to pick up a second hand regular ordinary Switch console.
Also my grades were alright last semester so I reward myself with a little treat, what of it?
I am very luxurious.
Admittedly, were my grades bad, the same course of action would have been undertaken in order to cheer myself up. It would not have worked at all but, to be fair, neither did getting good grades in the first place.
June of this year was 18 months post-op for the chest reconstruction I had in December of 2024. Everything is fully healed now, this entry is mostly a medical update, including photos of the scars if you’re into that sort of thing.
Pissing around with the footer over on the main site a little bit recently. Old reliable Notepad++ has never once done me wrong.
About a year or so ago I was watching a video review of Soul Reaver 2, which inadvertently reminded me of a 2002 print advertisement for Blood Omen 2, subsequently leading me to wonder why I’d never been in possession of Blood Omen 2, as it had been available on GameCube which remains my number one console to this day.
Even though it is constantly trying to convince me we are experiencing advanced future technologies from 2093.
In 2010 I painted a canvas, but never really liked the finished piece. It was an attempt to create a larger, colourised version of an ink piece using a different medium.
In hindsight, there wasn’t really a way to successfully make a better version of something I was already largely okay with.

Between the stress of trying to convince myself it isn’t a mistake to continue being alive and associated tasks therein, I did end up taking a month or two to rework day 18 from the September drawing challenge.

A while back I purchased a lace-front wig for 1:3 Khye, it looked great overall, but was a brighter silver than I’d prefer and photographed too white rather than grey.

Back in 2010 I attempted to use a Barbie as the base for a 1/6 scale doll based on my cat character Sol, but she was always kind of too tall and top-heavy.
While there are feline fashion dolls out there, they tend to favour the stylised big-head look unsuited to my purposes.
