Even if it rains here, it’s much worse in the north.

We are yet again drifting awfully close to what the townsfolk in Animal Crossing refer to as “Present Day”.

Hopefully this year won’t find me feeling off all day or vomiting all night. Summer is fun, right? Tech Support was up watching movies while I was vomiting, he came down stairs briefly, not to check that I was okay or anything, just to point out that I, apparently, looked “like Edward Cullen.” Which I guess means pale, shiny, and desperately attractive to teenage girls? Then again, aren’t I always?

But I digress.

Watch me try to churn through as many costumes as I’m physically able before the year ends. While simultaneously trying to document them in as cohesive a level of detail as can be mustered (did you know it takes anywhere from 3 days to a month to get these blog entries into a state where I’m comfortable enough to post them? Let me know, is your heart still beating?

A bit of sad news today…

Recently it was announced that the Melbourne Anime Festival, better known as “Manifest” is shutting down for good.

It came as a bit of a shock, there hadn’t been any mentions about the possibility of it shutting down (well, not that I’d noticed, but then I am hilariously unobservant), and there had even been some mentions of plans for 2014 and 2015, but, well… There will be no Manifest 2014, as 2013 was the last one.
