The annual Melbourne Zombie Shuffle was on Saturday and, even with the current state of largely unfounded terrorism-based political paranoia putting a slight damper on the props situation, it was a marvellous day!

But you have always known this is not all there is.
Have I mentioned that it’s October? No? Would you have noticed if I didn’t point it out just now? What’s that? You don’t need me to inform you of the functionality of the calendar year? Okay, whatever, just trying to share some joy.
Halloween joy, that is. All 31 days of it. Yep.
Okay, maybe not, too many Australians are spoil-sports about the whole skeleton-war thing for reasons I am yet to determine. Is it the fun aspect? Is Australia anti-fun?
But I digress.

The Melbourne Zombie Shuffle was last Saturday so the better part of last week was spent putting the final touches on the costumes.
This year we got a small group together, cosplaying characters from the web comic Maggot Boy. Being about zombies it seemed appropriate- not to mention how much fun MaEmon and I had cosplaying two of the characters (Davey and Owen respectively) at Manifest back in August.
